The Indiana Pacers are close to a deal to acquire Luis Scola from the Phoenix Suns, according to Yahoo! Sports.
The report states the two teams worked Friday night on the agreement for the 6-9 forward. Front office executives expect a deal to be reached soon.
Sources told Yahoo! Sports the Pacers will reportedly give the Suns a future first-round draft pick, along with another potential draft pick and cash considerations, and guard Gerald Green.
The Pacers have been setting their sights on Scola for a several weeks. The 33-year-old averaged 12.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 82 games last season.
The Suns are attempting to rebuild their team under new general manager Ryan McDonough.
