This kid is the real deal and I love every second of it. Yellow Mamba is averaging 26.8 points per game in the last 5 games, all wins. He has more points in his first four career starts than Iverson, Shaq and Jordan. What can’t he do?
The best part about all this linsanity is the fact that the Knicks are playing well on offense, buying into Coach D’Antoni’s system and moving the ball around. Landry Fields has finally awoken from his Rookie Nap, and playing like the young star that he is. With injuries to Melo and Amar’e the rest of the bench is getting huge minutes as well. Jared Jeffries was getting booed all season, but now with his gritty defensive play and work on the boards he is getting praised by Coach and even J-Lin.
The Knicks finally have a true point guard that can drive into the paint aggressively and distribute the ball to his teammates. It’s beautiful to watch.
Amar’e will be back in the lineup Monday it seems, and I can say confidently that STAT and Lin will get alo...

Jeremy Lin Receives Encouragement From Ex-Knicks Guard Wat Misaka, First Asian American in NBA

Wataru Misaka, the first non-white NBA player and like Lin an Asian American, sent the Chinese-American point guard a letter of encouragement. Misaka described the letter in an ESPN report, noting that "he told him 'Ganbare,' which means 'hang in there' in Japanese." While...
Jeremy Lin and Landry Fields are reading from Bible in pregame handshake
Last week we showed you the nerdy pregame handshake shared by Knicks guards Jeremy Lin and Landry Fields. The handshake involves Lin flipping through pages on a book Fields is holding out, the two pretending to take off reading glasses, and placing them in their pockets. They also point to the sky after the routine. We learned that’s because of religious reasons.

The Knicks beat the Lakers on Friday and the T-Wolves on Saturday night to push their streak to 5 strait wins. Day 49 of 124: Lin, Love and Ilyasova
Line of the Night: Kevin Love (2.78) did something against the Knicks last night that he’s done five other times in his career – and that’s go for at least 30 and 20 in a game. Love scored 32 points and grabbed 21 rebounds and despite that, was overshadowed by a certain PG on the other team who hit the game-winning free throw. It’s “only’ the second...
Let's Hope The NBA Never Stops The Linsanity
Is it wrong to rally around Jeremy Lin’s underdog story? Should we feel silly pulling for this undrafted free agent and D-League refugee whose berserk five-game scoring burst energized the New York Knicks?Of course not – because it’s a great story. Even if he simply settles back into a John Starks “instant energy” role with the Knicks, that will be a...
