According to the schedule makers, these are the dregs who don’t deserve to be watched by the widest television audience possible: “Sacramento. Milwaukee. New Jersey. Charlotte. Not exactly the company the Rockets want to keep. But there they are, on the small list of the teams that ABC/ESPN and TNT decided were not worthy of a night on their networks. Ouch. Actually, this is not really a surprise. The networks know what sells and in the NBA, brand name stars bring ratings. Give then 24 nights of LeBron or Kobe. Give them KG or Superman. Somehow, Shane Battier and Aaron Brooks just did not get their attention.”
