The Boston Celtics appear to like what they have seen from Terrence Williams.
The Celtics announced they have signed Williams to a multi-year contract. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Williams signed a 10-day contract with Boston on Feb. 20 and appeared in four games. He averaged 3.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 11.5 minutes per game.
The guard/forward signed with the Celtics after playing for the Guangdong Southern Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association. Williams was the Nets’ No. 11 pick in the 2009 draft. He spent two seasons with New Jersey before getting traded to the Rockets. Williams also spent time with the Kings during the 2011-12 season.
