It has been one year since the New York Knicks acquired Carmelo Anthony.
But the trade has not worked out as the team had hoped. They were 14-14 last year after the trade, and this season are 16-17 overall.
That is a sub-.500 record since the trade. Knicks fans have already began to question whether Anthony could lead the team to victories, even with his talent.
He is no longer the face of the franchise, as the team had hoped. Jeremy Lin is now the face of the franchise after his successful past two weeks.
There are many that still question whether Anthony, Lin, and Amar’e Stoudamire could work together. Some reports have said the team should trade Anthony away.
Only time will tell if Anthony is around for year 2.
