I'm still angry about the game last night, which means I'm either completely insane, in need of some hobbies, or just plain pathetic. After all, we're talking about an exhibition game here right. None of what transpired last night actually counts so you could just as easily pretend it didn't happen. Hey, that's a good idea, let me see if that works?Okay, okay?Nope, it ain't happening. It won't happen because rule number one of being a Celtics fan is?YOU DON'T LOSE TO THE GODDAMN KNICKS! Look we're not talking about a high standard of fandom here. I've endured some pretty horrendous campaigns over the past three years and despite the fact that we stunk to epic proportions, I always counted them as a semi success because we didn't lose to those phony tough guys down in the blue and orange jerseys. Why hate the Knicks? Well, in a nutshell: The owner is a spoiled brat, the General Manager/coach is a racist, sexist, fugazi who continues to trade on a career that ended more than a decade ago. Their best player is a career loser who's better on Youtube than he is on the basketball court. And their biggest fan is an overrated douche who has made a career out of race baiting and ripping off Woody Allen (who sadly is also a huge Knicks fan). However, last night took the cake in the hatred of these ignorant fools. The fact that this team of phony tough guys were out there head hunting during a preseason game is the final straw. I don't care if Quentin Richardson, or should I say the former Mr. Brandy, has had a tough life, he's a pile of spit in my book, the ultimate fugazi, wanna be tough guy who has been given a free pass for sucking for too many years now. Did anyone else notice the guy punching Paul Pierce in the head from behind on an open layup? Look, you little sissy, you can do that in the playoffs, or maybe a mid season game, but to do it in the preseason is just uncalled for. I immediately demand that Doc Rivers send Brian Scalabrine out to end his career. Just end it! Which brings me to Nate Robinson, another one of these guys who's too stupid to realize that with each cheap foul he gives, each post basket celebration, and each fight he sparks that he's only sealing his fate. I can't think of anyone in this league who would sign a guy who is five foot five, can't shoot, can't really pass, and has a habit of showboating and picking fights. Sometimes when watching this kid play I have visions of Charles Oakley just picking him up and cracking him in half like a lobster. Note to the Celtics??"sign Charles Oakley stat. Like I said who would sign this guy to a money deal? The answer is of course my real reason for the hatred of the Knicks, the head moron in charge, Isiah Thomas. While I have spent enough ink hating on this guy, the one thing I really can't stand is that he purposely sends his players out there to take cheap shots during an exhibition game. This is the biggest bush league move in sports. Yes, you can give hard fouls in a regular game but an exhibition? What if he ends up getting Ray Allen hurt? Or Paul Pierce? What is this pile of crap going to do? Flash that smile and say, "Its part of the game." What an ass he is. Any real owner would have fired his ass a long time ago. I still blame him for sowing the seeds of that fight in Detroit. After all, if he's not convincing the Pacers that they're the next bad boys of the league do they ever pull that shit? Probably not. So I hope those flakes over at the Garden understand that all they did was wake up a sleeping giant. I can't imagine that Garnett, Pierce, and Allen will forget last night's game anytime soon. And I for one hope the next time we play them that Kendrick takes some of those boys straight to the woodshed for some beasting. But by then, maybe the world will correct itself and Isiah will be working a sports memoribilia convention along side OJ.
