The New Orleans Hornets are once again struggling to find ways to win as they drop their most recent game today to the Portland Trailblazers by a score of 84-77. The loss drops New Orleans to 3-10 sitting in the basement of the SouthWest Conference. Yet, on a positive note Trevor Ariza should be returning to the starting lineup this week. Eric Gordon and Xavier Henry should be back on the court as early as next week, so barring any more injuries we could finally see the team play at full strength.
Gustavo Ayon, the 26 year old rookie from Mexico continues to improve and show a lot of hustle on both sides of the ball. Ayon has put up 24 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, and even added 7 assists in his last three games where he continues to get more playing time as the team continues to struggle.
