Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Miami Heat will be meeting Tuesday for the NBA Finals. These teams are similar in their Big 3 mentality, yet the titanic battle will display contrasts throughout.
Advantages for the Oklahoma City Thunder:
III: Three Point Shooting
The Miami Heat truly stepped up their shooting from deep after a dismal display for most of the Indiana Pacers series. After being killed from downtown early against the Boston Celtics, they took off. That being said, out of the five starters notwithstanding PF Chris Bosh’s recent barrage, there are more consistent three point shooters on the Thunder. If LeBron hits more shots from near half court this could change.
II: Center Play
This is a given. The combo of C’s Kendrick Perkins and Nazr Mohammed might not scare everyone, but they are a better unit than Joel Anthony and Ronny Turiaf. They have size on the Heat’s duo but Anthony is the top shot blocker at the position. If Perkins was better offensively or...
BEST OF MAXIM
Thunder player James Harden has become tremendously popular with the team's fans and now they can emulate his facial hair courtesy of a beard printout available in PDF form.
At 23 years old Oklahoma Thunder’s Kevin Durant still has a baby face so in this video of him when he was 17 he looks like an infant! Anyway, someone on the innerwebs dug up this video of Kevin at Seat Pleasant Recreational Center in MD. In the video, you can already see Kevin showing signs of that accessible and cautiously candid personality we in the media and blogophere are...
A.B. As much as I hate Lebron James and the Miami heat, this is bush league. Being some 45 year old mid-life-crisis-big-bellied Bostonian who dropped $200+ on tickets and $8+ on crappy beer doesn’t give you the right to throw a beer at a professional athlete.
Be a man and jump on the court and take a swing at the big fella. I would respect that much more. But waiting for Lebron...
It’s the finals every body wanted.
LeBron James versus anti-LeBron James, aka Kevin Durant. The makeup of both the Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat could not be any more different.
Miami built their big-3 through free agency in the summer of 2010. James and Chris Bosh upped with Dwyane Wade, which of course prompted this. Meanwhile, just days after...
Kevin Durant knows that whatever happens in the NBA Finals, he and LeBron James will be viewed as being at the center of it, for better or for worse. He recognizes that, he understands that, but he doesn't have to like that. Durant and James have more in common than chasing a championship starting Tuesday in Oklahoma City. Both have become hermits during the playoffs, with James...
MIAMI As much as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh chafed at the trash talk, the head games and even the pushups each time they have played Boston, deep down they knew there was a reason the Celtics, after putting Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett alongside Paul Pierce had won a title, lost another in Game 7, and never, ever went down without a fight.
The Celtics not only played...
With the Miami HEAT headed to the 2012 NBA Finals versus the Oklahoma City Thunder, a local South Florida company thought it was only right to commemorate the occasion with 16, 18 and 20 foot statues of the big three.
Prime Time Amusements, a global operator, seller and event renter of video arcade machines and simulators, made Miami’s biggest sports figures – LeBron James,...
LeBron James returns to the NBA Finals this week, one year after the Heat lost to the Mavericks in disappointing fashion.
Kevin Durant and LeBron James have reached another level in the postseason, but the 2012 NBA Finals will more likely be turned by one of their teammates.
Well, it’s all over for the Celtics. However, an enemy of many Celtics fans had some nice things to say about head coach Doc Rivers. LeBron James told ESPN’s Doris Burke, after the Heat defeated the Celtics 101-88 in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, that he thinks River is “one hell of a coach.” He commented on how well Rivers prepares his team. James closed out the...
Why aren’t you rooting for LeBron James? Unless you’re an Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtic (Classy) or Indiana Pacer fan, it has no intellect at all. Aren’t you tired of giving all your effort to hating LeBron? Or have you not reached your peak and plan on taking your disgust Facebook statuses to the next level?
We get it, LeBron left you clinching your...
Just when you thought that the world of YouTube were out of ideas of making parody videos about Heat star Lebron James, you would be wrong.Check out this clip as Daniel Aruajo parodies Chris Crocker's "Leave Britney Alone" video by doing his own version called, "Leave Lebron Alone".So, get your popcorn ready and be ready for the whining to begin:
