Turn On The Knicks:
New York Knicks
The New York Knicks entered tonight’s game on a four game winning streak, which some were writing off because of less than stellar competition. However, despite not having Tyson Chandler again they ran their winning streak to five games with a thorough beating of the Boston Celtics in their own building, 100-85. Yes, they were without Kevin Garnett but Boston is never an easy place to win, particularly without your All-Star Center. The Knicks have now won back to back games in Boston this season, a good sign if the two teams meet in the first round of the playoffs.
After a relatively even first quarter, the Knicks began to pull away in the second quarter led by JR Smith who continued his recent streak of terrific all-around basketball. When Smith isn’t settling for too many three-pointers, he can be a devastating offensive weapon as showed tonight with a 32 point performance. The Knicks took a 14 point lead into the half and never really looked back.
The Celtics were sluggish on de...

We all remember where we were that day in February, when it was reported that during a conversation in Philly with a female, J.R. Smith cut right to the chase and asked the young lady “if she was trying to get the pipe.” Smith who has had some classic moments during his career, entered became a social media legend that night. Knicks Wall is now honoring that night, by selling...
Remember when a Twitter direct message (DM) leaked with JR Smith asking a girl in Philly if she was “trying to get the pipe?” The genius people at “The Knicks Wall” thought that would be a great slogan for a t-shirt, along with a cartoon version of “Swish” Smith, tattoos included. The shirt is going for $28.99. I hope they plan on giving JR a piece of the cut. What a...
In the history of men, we have you used some terrible pick-up lines to attempt to woo women and recently, New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith attempted to sex up a lady by using the pick-up line, "You Trying To Get The Pipe".Since that memorable line came out, someone decided to make a t-shirt about it and below is an image that might cause a gaffaw or two:(Courtesy of Complex)
Mount Carmel (Ill.) defensive lineman Enoch Smith Jr., made the trip to North Carolina over the weekend to check out several schools.
The New York Knicks are currently riding a five-game winning streak, revamping confidence in the team once again this season. It’s been an up and down roller-coaster for these Knicks, and just over a week ago they seemed to be hitting rock bottom with a four-game losing streak. Questions of how Carmelo Anthony would perform after getting his knee drained mixed with the fact Tyson...
J.R. Smith scored 35 points, his second straight 30-point game, and the New York Knicks withstood a furious rally to beat the Memphis Grizzlies 108-101 on Wednesday night.
Carmelo Anthony added 22 points and Iman Shumpert had 16 as the Knicks tied a season high with their sixth straight win.
Smith scored 32 points against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday.
After trailing by as many...
Since our last installment of the Knicks bench report, the Knicks have continued their hot streak by winning four straight games, tying their high streak for the year at 6 in a row. The Knicks won back to back games against the Toronto Raptors, while also taking one in Boston and last night against a very solid Memphis Grizzlies team. The Knicks now have an overall record of 44-26...
Setting quite the commanding tone, the Knicks overpowered the Celtics for the secibs time this season in Boston, coming out victorious by a score of 100-85 on Tuesday night. With so many things going their way at TD Garden, it was difficult to be disappointed with the way the Knicks (short-handed without Tyson Chandler, among others) kept up their level of intensity and gritty effort...
There are just a couple of weeks left in the NBA's regular season. As Knicks fans know, there's nothing like taking in a game and rooting for the Big Apple's home team. Speaking from experience, it's also a lot of fun to hit the road and support the Knicks away from home as well, as the passion of their fans can be heavily felt in just about any arena nationwide.If...
For most of the night, we didn’t think the New York Knicks would need things like a clutch Jason Kidd three and the need to make late free throws in order to beat the Memphis Grizzlies. The Knicks’ scorching first half made it seem like we’d be watching Chris Copeland dominating garbage time, Steve Novak making meaningless threes while Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith made fun...
The New York Knicks look to extend their winning streak to six tonight when the Memphis Grizzlies come to Madison Square Garden. Here is what to watch for
Current Standings – New York: 43-26, 2nd in the Eastern Conference (12.5 games behind Miami, 1st in Atlantic Division (2.5 games ahead of Brooklyn). Memphis: 47-23, 5th in Western Conference (.5 games behind Los Angeles Clippers...

Tonight, the Knicks are in Beantown facing a Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo-less Celtics team. Meanwhile, the Knicks still have their own injury woes to contend with. Word is, Tyson Chandler will likely miss tonight’s game despite participating in the team’s shootaround this morning. Yet, regardless...
