Jameer Nelson was recently released by the Orlando Magic. Orlando was the only place Nelson ever called home in the NBA. The former Saint Joseph’s standout, and college AP player of the year (2003) was taken 20th overall, by the Denver Nuggets, in the 2004 NBA Draft. The Magic traded for Nelson before he ever had a chance to suit up for Denver, and the rest is history.
