On Friday night, the Lakers without point guard Steve Nash suffered a 105-95 loss at the hands of their fellow Staples Center cotenants, the Lost Angeles Clippers. The loss dropped the Lakers to 0-3, their worst start since 1978 and are currently in last place. The team is winless in three tries after going 0-8 during the preseason. Eyebrows are beginning to raise in Los Angeles and finger pointing is sure to follow.
The Lakers are still struggling to implement coach Mike Brown’s hybrid Princeton offense. As a result, the team has committed a lot of turnovers. Through three games, the team is averaging 19.7 turnovers a game while their opponents are at 12.0. This is making it extremely difficult for the team to play defense because th...

Kobe Bryant stuck his injured foot in an ice bucket and tried to relax. His star-studded Los Angeles Lakers are off to their first 0-3 start in 34 years, and even he isn't sure why nothing is working so far.
''It's particularly hard for me, because I'm not the most patient individual in the world,'' Bryant said. ''But you have to be. You have...
Lakers point guard Steve Nash was diagnosed with a "small non-displaced fracture in the head of his fibula," according to a statement released by the team.
Nash underwent an MRI exam on his left leg, which was injured in Wednesday night's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Team doctor Steve Lombardo made the diagnosis, which will keep Nash out for at least a...
When Steve Nash first went down with injury, it was thought that he would only be out for a weke or so. It turns out that the problem may be a lot worse than initially feared, which could mean a much longer time on the sidelines for the guard.
The Los Angeles Lakers clearly look like they miss Steve Nash now after struggling against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night in their 105-95 loss, with Steve Blake being their point guard in that outing.
Nash has been out since having a leg injury in a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers earlier in the week. However, Lakers head coach Mike Brown says he isn’t...
Los Angeles Clippers (1-0) vs. Los Angeles Lakers (0-2)
Kobe Bryant does not want anyone talking about this game. You know, ESPN should probably go ahead and not show it. Because all they will talk about is how the Lakers are struggling to grasp the Princeton Offense and have two losses to their name already.
So Bryant is telling everyone to shut up about the...
Have you ever fractured your fibula? I haven’t but I’m guessing if I did, I wouldn’t be planning on playing basketball after only two weeks. I have a feeling I’d need my fibula to, you know, do things like run and jump. Steve Nash has this problem. His owners now have this problem. Steve Blake is no Steve Nash, said Lloyd Benson! Who? Look it up if you don’t know! I’m...
Steve Nash (Out)
Nash’s injury has been diagnosed as a “small non-displaced fracture in the head of his fibula,” and he will miss a minimum of one week.
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Dwight Howard scored 28 points, Kobe Bryant had 15 points and eight assists, and the Los Angeles Lakers finally got their first victory of the season, 108-79 over the winless Detroit Pistons on Sunday night.
Metta World Peace scored 18 points and Pau Gasol added 14 for the Lakers, who went 0-8 in the preseason and started the regular season 0-3 for just the fourth...
It's been rocky start to the 2012-13 NBA season for the Los Angeles Lakers. The team has gone 1-3 to kickoff the season and have looked out of sorts early in the season. And though Dwight Howard finally exploded for 28 points and seven rebounds in LA's first win over Detroit, the team still have to develop chemistry on the court and losing former NBA MVP Steve Nash won&...
