- Fatigue seemed to catch up with the Boston Celtics as they came back from a 28 point deficit, but couldn't keep the lead and lost Game 1 to thre Orlando Magic 95 - 90
- The Boston Red Sox played late into the night, holding off the Yankees on a rainy night in NY 6 - 4
