The 76ers and the Knicks got a little heated last night when Tyson Chandler pushed Spencer Hawes in the third period.  Carmelo Anthony seemed to punch Hawes in the back of the head while going for a rebound, which triggered Hawes to turn around and give him an ear full. Chandler came to defend Melo, and shoved Hawes out of the way.  Hawes tried to get back into his face, but referees and players separated the two players.  No punches were thrown, and the Knicks got the last laugh with a 99-93 victory.  Video below. Smith. Many wondered how far the courtesy would go. Do the Knicks Show Up Tonight Versus the Sixers?

76ers @ Knicks: MSG 7pm The Knicks are back home, losers of four in a row and five of six.  They are stumbling to regain their identity.  Their effort in the road loss to the Raptors was only on display in the second and fourth quarters. It is obvious they are relying heavily on isolation basketball.  They jumped out to scoring 32 points in the first quarter, but gave up just...

Philadelphia 76ers: Jrue Holiday is NBA’s Most Improved Player for 2012-13 Season

Jrue Holiday was an All-Star this year. How many people said that before the season, without bias? Very few. Holiday has improved drastically from last season and is the NBAs Most Improved Player. He has improved in every statistical category and has carried the 76ers on his back. No, they will not make the playoffs, but his improvements make him the clear favorite for the NBA...

Here’s your now weekly Andrew Bynum wacky hairstyle update

Hedge maze corn rows? Wasn’t it just last week that we were talking about oft-injured Andrew Bynum’s latest kooky hairstyle? There was that bit of ridiculousness, and now there’s this, a hairstyle that is more open to interpretation than a Jim Jarmusch film. Sure he hasn’t scored a single point all season—these things happen when you don’t play one minute of one game...

Fashion Glance: Andrew Bynum’s latest hair

For the first time since being traded to the Philadelphia 76′ers last summer, Andrew Bynum practiced with the team on Friday. Knicks Coach Mike Woodson Wears T-Shirt With His Face on It to Practice (Photo)

Despite sort of looking like Droopy Dog, Mike Woodson has managed to keep his players’ attention as Knicks coach. This is not a small accomplishment, since New York’s roster is filled with players who have had problems with other coaches in the past. On Tuesday, Woodson offered a glimpse into one thing that might help him relate to today’s players. Woodson wore a T-shirt with...
