The things Kevin Love has done with his Twitter account over the past several days have been tremendous examples of how Twitter can improve the Olympic experience. Love has been tweeting hilarious picture after hilarious picture. On Thursday, he sent out a great shot of several Team USA players sleeping during their flight in various embarrassing positions. Later that day, he started sharing photos of all the players in their Opening Ceremony outfits. I can’t imagine any of the American athletes will look more awkward than Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony or Anthony Davis.
Don’t worry — Love didn’t just target his teammates. He also shared a picture of himself, albeit with a description that read, “Getting my Justin Timberlake on.”

They are pretty much the douchiest outfits we’ve ever seen. Every American athlete will have to rock these uniforms, berets and all, during Friday’s opening ceremonies. It’s great seeing photos popping up of athletes trying...
The USA men’s basketball team is now done with their exhibition games and are ready for the 2012 Olympics to start. Yesterday the American beat Spain in a tune up game 100-78. The Americans got off to a slow start but they crushed Spain in the second half. This was a matchup between the two best teams in the world although both sides had many injuries to star players...
