Utah Jazz center Al Jefferson won’t play against Toronto Raptors By Steve Luhm The Salt Lake Tribune Published Jan 25, 2012 06:14PM MDT Utah Jazz center Al Jefferson will not play in Wednesday night’s game against Toronto because of an inflamed right ankle. The game will be televised on Root Sports at 7 p.m. Jefferson is the Jazz’s top scorer and rebounder. He left the morning shootaround about 10 minutes early and, accompanied by trainer Gary Briggs, walked gingerly to the locker room. It is not known how long Jefferson will be sidelined.
