Pro Sports Daily:
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Denver Nuggets were struggling, looking to get a jump-start somehow against an Indiana Pacers team that had all the momentum in its favor. No need to worry, veteran Andre Miller was there to bail them out. Miller scored six points during an 8-0 Nuggets run late in the fourth quarter to help them beat the Pacers 92-89 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday. "Right now I think he knows how to get shots down the stretch better than some of our other guys, some of our younger guys," Nuggets coach George Karl said. "He was running the pick-and-roll and the actions all game, probably better than anybody out there. He just has that old man knack." Pacers guard George Hill missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer that would have sent the game into overtime. Corey Brewer and JaVale McGee scored 20 points each off the bench for Nuggets. Indiana's Paul George led all scorers with 22 points. Denver's bench outscored the Pacers second unit, 55-12. ...

In the last couple of years, Nuggets forward JaVale McGee has provided us with many laughs and during Friday night's Nuggets/Pacers game, he provided us with another JaVale moment. After Mr. McGee collects the rebound, a behind-the-back move turned into a terrible fast break which caused JaVale to throw the pass into the third row.To top it all off, he took another Nuggets player...
Denver's Andre Miller brought back a blast from the past Friday night.
The 36-year-old backup guard scored eight of his 15 points during a 10-0 run in the final three minutes, leading the Nuggets past the Indiana Pacers 92-89.
Miller had a hand in all of the points, also getting an assist on JaVale McGee's dunk during the decisive spurt.
McGee dominated the first half...
JaVale McGee remains the NBA worldwide leader in magnificent blunders. During the third quarter of the Denver Nuggets’ game against the Indiana Pacers on Friday, McGee grabbed a loose ball, dribbled behind his back, and attempted to lead a fast break. The only problem is he began losing control of the rock around midcourt and, as he was falling, he chucked the ball over the basket...
JaVale McGee is the source of a ton of frustration coupled with endless giggles with some of the moves he makes on the court. For an example, check out two plays from Nuggets vs. Pacers on Friday night. In one play we watch JaVale attempt to dish a behind the back pass. But during [...]
This is really painful to watch. You knew as soon as he went behind-the-back and the ball got a little too far ahead of him that something was going to horribly wrong. He tries to corral it but he gets off-balance and tries to throw a pass to his Denver Nuggets teammate Kenneth Faried. Needless to say, Faried had zero chance at catching that pass. Hopefully next time McGee...
Looking for the dunk of Friday night in the NBA?Then you need to check out this amazing one-handed stuff that Nuggets forward JaVale McGee decided to throw down on Pacers back-up center Ian Mahinmi:
With just under 5 minutes in Wednesday night’s Pacers-Blazers game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Roy Hibbert fouled rookie Damian Lillard causing a decent sized laceration on his right elbow. According to the official rules of the NBA, the officials can suspend the game for a maximum of 30 seconds for treatment, and after that time the player must be substituted out of the game for...
Roy Hibbert has been struggling so far this season after signing a big contract to stay in Indiana. He proved to be a problem last season during the playoffs, particularly against the Miami Heat.
Hibbert made a highlight yesterday, but it wasn’t quite for a good reason. He had blood on his jersey, and pulled his shorts up just a little bit too high in order to hide it. You can...
Roy Hibbert is coming for your title, Dwight Howard. He might not be coming swiftly, or very directly, but he is coming. Hibbert intends to be the best center in the NBA one day, supplanting Howard as the elite of that position, the struggling Pacers center declared while denying that he posted a photo with “#[expletive]Dwight” on Instagram. Hibbert’s offensive decline has...
The Indiana Pacers appeared to have momentum heading into their showdown with the Denver Nuggets at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, so it's disappointing to see them crumple down the stretch and hand the Nuggets a 92-89 victory.
I had hoped for JaVale McGee to score some baskets for the Pacers but instead he dominated Roy Hibbert, who was kept to 10 and 9 on 3-10 shooting (though...
