Friday is always a busy night in the NBA. Fantasy Sports Locker Room takes a look at last night’s Fantasy Basketball News & Notes from around the Association – Twitter style.   Anthony Davis had 26 points and 17 Rebounds tonight…he is making the leap — Matt Jones (@KySportsRadio) November 2, 2013 9-23 from the floor isn’t great, but Anthony Davis poured in 26 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. He blocked three shots and was a perfect 8-8 from the line. It wasn’t enough as the Pelicans lost 110-90 to the Magic.       Orlando was led by a 30 point performance from Arron Afflalo. He was 10-14 from the field, 4-5 from beyond the arc. Rookie Victor Oladipo spread out the fantasy basketball categories nicely – 10 points, six boards, six assists, four steals and two block shots. James Harden goes for 34 points (4-8 3-pt FG) and Dwight Howard adds 13 Pts & 16 Reb as Rockets beat Mavericks, 113-105. — SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) November 2, 2013 James Harden and Dwight Howard proved to be too much for the Mavs. 42 boards in two games for D12. Thaddeus Young has 29 points and Evan Turner has 23. Both players are approaching their prime. Sixers looking very, very good again. — Maxwell Ogden (@MaxwellOgden) November 2, 2013   John Wall ON FIRE after one: 15 Points and hasn’t missed a shot. One of the more entertaining guys in the league possibly making the leap? — NBA Fantasy (@NBAFantasy) November 1, 2013 John Wall had it going on, but his back seized up. Wall would end his night by shooting 10-19, scoring 26 points, while collecting six assists and five boards.   Thaddeus Young and Evan Turner were too strong though as the 76ers are now 2-0 to start the year. Yeah… 2-0. Spencer Hawes finished with a double-double, 16 points and 14 rebounds. He drained 24 points and pulled down nine boards in his first game of the year. The double-double machine, Kevin Love finished with 24-12 lifting the @MNTimberwolves over the @okcthunder 100-81. Rubio dished out 10 dimes — NBA (@NBA) November 2, 2013 55 points and 29 boards in two games for Kevin Love. Minnesota held Kevin Durant to 13 points.     Mr. Consistent, Al Horford was at it again tonight with 22 points & 16 rebounds. The @ATLHawks beat the @Raptors 102-95. Teague had 17-12. — NBA (@NBA) November 2, 2013 DeMar DeRozan had a nice night with 31 points, but the Raps didn’t have a one-two punch to match the Hawks.   Cavs fall 90-84 on a night when Kemba Walker was the best guard on the floor. Thompson finished with 21 & 11. Miles had 22. Irving 16. — Eric Knappenberger (@CavsWITNESS) November 2, 2013 Kemba Walker poured in 23 points and dished out seven assists. Kyrie Irving also had seven assists with his 16 points.     Very quiet double-double for Andre Drummond. 10 pts and 13 rebounds now. — Detroit Bad Boys ☠ (@detroitbadboys) November 2, 2013 Locker Room Fantasy Sports is expecting big things from Andre Drummond and he brought it last night with 16 rebounds, 12 points, 3 steals and 2 blocks.   A shout out to Vitor Faverani… Vitor Faverani had 12 Pts, 18 Reb and 6 Blk. He’s the 1st @celtics player with those numbers in a game since Robert Parish in 1980. — ESPN Stats & Info (@ESPNStatsInfo) November 2, 2013 Faverani now has 25 points, 21 rebounds and 9 blocks in three games. He played 37 minutes last night and I think is worth a fantasy basketball pick up. The post Fantasy Basketball News & Notes Update: November 1st, 2013 appeared first on Fantasy Sports Locker Room.
