The Victory Formation:
Yi Jianlian never made a name for himself here in the United States, but he is still huge in China. You know who is also huge in China? Kobe Bryant. Kobe is still the top player marketed overseas for the NBA. They love him. So it was only natural for him an Yi to star in a commercial together. It’s a pretty sweet ad, entitled “Give Me the Ball”: Nike routinely puts out some of the cooler ads. Kevin Durant was also featured in there, though he wasn’t actually in it.
