I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure that Darko Milicic is doing it wrong. Either that or he’s trying to showcase his skills in hopes of a trade to the Wizards…but I highly doubt that.
Last nights Minnesota Timberwolves/Washington Wizards matchup really was nothing more than a Thursday night regular season game between a couple of bottom feeders. Sure there’s some talent there, but for the most part both these teams are awful.
Still, as with most sporting events, there always seems to be some highlight, either spectacular or comical, that provides a bit of entertainment in an otherwise mundane game.
Enter Darko Milicic, T-Wolves center, #2 overall pick in the 2003 draft, and all-world under-performer. Darko goes up for a jump ball with the Wizards Al Thornton in the first quarter, and, well, disaster promptly ensues.
