After losing to the Denver Nuggets in Game 5, the Golden State Warriors bounced back to win Game 6 92-88 last night to bounce the Nuggets out of the playoffs. The star player for the Warriors Stephen Curry had 22 points and eight assists Thursday night. ‚ÄúTo finally get it done, it‚Äôs kind of a hazy feeling,‚ÄĚ Curry said. ‚ÄúJust a sense of relief the way the game finished.‚ÄĚ
‚ÄúWhen we go in the locker room, we‚Äôre jumping up and down, we‚Äôre hugging, we‚Äôre changed men. This is the greatest group of men as far as a team that I‚Äôve ever been around or seen in my life,‚ÄĚ coach Mark Jackson said after the game.
Chipping in for the Warriors was Andrew Bogut who had his career playoff highs of 14 points and a whopping 21 rebounds. ‚ÄúIt‚Äôs very emotional for me because I‚Äôve had a nightmare of a year,‚ÄĚ said Bogut about his injury filled year.
For the Nuggets Andre Iguodala tried to help his team keep the game close with 24 points. His teammate Ty Lawson had 17 points. Unfortunately for Den

Stephen Curry had a miserable night in Denver that was much different from the long distance display he put on in Golden State a few nights back.
Curry, who finished the night with 15 points and was 1-of-7 from 3-point range, was already agitated leaving the floor when a Nuggets fan just had to further add to his agitation.
No word yet on what the fan said to Curry to make him¬...
The Denver Nuggets were down 3-1 the other night, and tactfully employed their version of the Jordan rules on Warriors point guard Stephen Curry during game 5.
Denver roughed Curry up at every turn of the game. If he drove the lane, came off a screen, anything Curry did resulted in him being bumped, pushed and manhandled by the Nuggets.
The San Jose Mercury is reporting that with...
The Warriors / Nuggets series has been one of the few exciting series’ of this year’s NBA playoffs. We’ve seen the emergence of Stephen Curry into a legitimate megastar. The SF Bay Area might have known how good he is, but now the world knows.
In game 4 in Oakland, Curry displayed the best natural shot in the league in what might have been the best 3rd quarter performance in...
Things got very chippy on the court during Game 5 of the Warriors ‚Äď Nuggets first round playoff series. Perhaps even most interesting though was what happened after the game actually ended. Watch below and watch as the Warriors are walking off the court and guard Stephen Curry gets into¬†some¬†sort of verbal altercation with a [...]
The Golden State Warriors have a Western Conference semi-finals date with the San Antonio Spurs after taking out the Denver Nuggets in six.
The conference’s sixth-seed once again was driven by the force that is point guard Stephen Curry.
Curry stormed out of the locker room after the half and burned down the third period with a run that put the Nuggets back on their heels.

Whoever thought political correctness would creep its way into the NBA playoffs?
Thats what the Golden State Warriors seemed to be trying to achieve following a 107-100 loss to the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series Tuesday. The Warriors still lead the best-of-seven affair, 3-2, with Game 6 Thursday at home.
But you never know. The Warriors very well could...
Following the Denver Nuggets series extending game 5 win over Golden State, Warriors head coach Mark Jackson criticized the Nuggets for their physical and rough play on Stephen Curry.
‚ÄúThey tried to send hit men at Steph,‚ÄĚ Jackson said in his post game news conference after the Warriors‚Äô 107-100 loss Tuesday night at the Pepsi Center.
‚ÄúThere were some dirty plays early,‚‚Ä...
Golden State coach Mark Jackson was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Thursday for making public comments in an attempt to influence the officiating in the Warriors' playoff series with Denver.
After Golden State's 107-100 loss at Denver on Tuesday night, Jackson repeatedly mentioned Kenneth Faried's foul in the first half, when the Denver forward stuck out his right leg and...
They’re not supposed to be here. A team that does not feature a relevant player over 30 years of age, and a veteran presence provided by the 29-year-old Jarrett Jack is now headed to the second round of the NBA playoffs.
The Golden State Warriors have a superstar in the making in 25-year-old Stephen Curry, a sharp-shooter in 23-year-old Klay Thompson and untapped talent in 20...
