San Antonio Spurs' Aron Baynes hasn't seen much action on the court for the Spurs. He has bounced back and forth between San Antonio and Austin playing for the Toros. With San Antonio, he has played 11 games, and is averaging 6.6 minutes in limited time but in the few minutes, he has shown flashes of a solid player for the Spurs off the bench. But going back and forth to Austin  might be trying for Baynes. He may be learning the Spurs' system out in Austin and getting playing time but to step on an NBA court is preferred for a rookie looking to make his mark. Fellow Australian, Golden State Warriors' Andrew Bogut, had some words of advice for his fellow countryman and says Baynes just needs to stick with it. "Just stick with it," said Bogut. "He's in a great organization. Just put your head down and word hard." Sound advice for Baynes who hasn't made waves or griped about playing time with San Antonio.   Baynes has been professional about splitting time between the Toros and Spurs and is ready to go whenever he is on the Spurs' bench. He displays hustle, toughness, and passion while on the court for the Spurs and nothing showed it more than in the win over the Bobcats. Baynes scored 7 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and recorded 1 block in the win. He backed it up with another strong performance against the Pistons where he scored 7 points, went 3-3 from the field, and had 1 block and 1 steal.   And it is this type of hard work from Baynes that Bogut says will eventually catch the eye of coach Gregg Popovich.   "Pop's the type of coach that will reward that (hard work). So, from what I heard, Baynes is a very hard worker, very humble guy," Bogut said. "I think if he just works hard everything will take care of itself."   Right now Baynes just needs to learn the system considering he came into the NBA late in the season. It is tough for him right now but adjusting to the NBA and Spurs' system in Austin will help his quicken his learning curve.   Currently, Baynes is with the Toros and putting up 13 points, 8.5 rebounds and shooting 50% in 4 games for Austin. Granted, it is against D-League competition but with this continued hard work, there is no doubt he will get his chance to represent Australia as his fellow countrymen Patty Mills and Andrew Bogut have done on basketball's biggest stage -- the NBA.
