Golden State’s Klay Thompson scored 19 of his 27 points in the third quarter as the Warriors were able to overcome the Pistons’ 53 bench points to win 104-97 snapping Detroit’s 5 game winning streak at The Palace. Forward Tayshaun Prince was the only Pistons starter to score in double figures as the veteran racked up 24 points while Brandon Knight, Kyle Singler and Rodney Stuckey went 0 for 9 from the field in the first half. The Pistons however were once again able to win the battles in the paint as first round selection Andre Drummond continues his development. The rookie finished his night with 15 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocks. As a team the Pistons out rebounded the Warriors 44/36 and had 36 to Golden State’s 24 points in the paint. h/t: NBA.com
