The Golden State Warriors have added depth to their frontline, agreeing to a contract with Earl Barron on Saturday.
The Warriors lost fellow big man Kwame Brown for the season because of a chest injury.
Barron will likely serve as a backup to starting center Andris Biedrins.
Barron, an undrafted free agent out of Memphis, has averaged 5.1 points and 3.7 rebounds with five teams for his career. He played in 21 games last season.
