Last night the Dallas Mavericks were 2.5 point favorites against the Utah Jazz, meaning that if you bet on Dallas you needed them to win by at least 3, and if you bet on Utah lose by no more than 2. Well as I am watching the end of the end of this game, Utah is down 6 with 16.9 seconds left and no realistic shot at winning or covering. After a scramble…Utah hits a 3 with 1.7 seconds left and it seems like it will end with Dallas winning by 3 and COVERING by 1/2 a point. All they need is the best passing point guard of all time, Jason Kidd, to throw the ball on the court (not even to a person). THAT IS WHEN JASON KIDD blatantly gives the ball back to UTAH, which would have given UTAH the easy 2 (if they didn’t suck balls) and Utah would have lost by 1, COVERING THE SPREAD.
