John Wall has come out saying that he deserves a max contract when his rookie contract expires and he could sign one as soon as this summer. This is no doubt that 2010′s first overall pick, is the franchise player of the Washington Wizards and a polarizing player and athlete, but having only played about a third of this season so far and with his numbers down from last year, it is difficult to decide his overall value. 2011-12 stats: 16.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 8.0 assists on 42.3 percent shooting from field. 2012-13 stats: 14.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 7.1 assists on 41.4 percent shooting from field. At this point it is up to the Wizards to decide his worth and a max contract will most likely be around 4 years and 60 million dollars, basically what the New Orleans Hornets paid Eric Gordon last summer. No matter how important Wall is to their franchise and their future, three point guards with similar stats all signed long-term contracts last year, for far less than maximum dollar...
