Kyrie Irving is one hell of a one-on-one basketball player. Irving caught the pass on an isolation play, freed himself up from a solid perimeter defender in Klay Thompson, and cooly sank the three pointer to force overtime Sunday night against Golden State.
Shots like this are why the Cavs selected Irving first overall a few years ago. Irving had been slumping earlier in the season but appears to have shaken free going into 2014 and is making a push for his second All-Star bid by averaging 25.2 points and 6.3 assists so far in December.

The Golden State Warriors have waived center Hilton Armstrong, the team announced tonight.
Armstrong appeared in seven games with Golden State, averaging 0.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in 4.0 minutes per contest. He was originally signed on December 11 as a free agent Call-Up from the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League.
The Golden State Warriors have recalled center Ognjen Kuzmic from the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League.
Kuzmic was assigned to Santa Cruz on Dec. 28 and played 16 minutes in Sunday's game against the Bakersfield Jam, registering two points, nine rebounds and one blocked shot.
