Pass The Pill:
Something tells me that Roy Hibbert may not make the best paintball player. I don’t know, maybe it’s the 7’2, 280 pound frame of his that could potentially stick out while darting back and forth between the obstacles. Hibbert is having a ton of fun with Google Glass, which allows the viewer to witness what is happening from the athlete’s point of view. The former Georgetown center has his own Youtube channel that has clips of other things Hibbert has done while using Google Glass. Check it out: The post WATCH: Roy Hibbert plays paintball while wearing Google Glass appeared first on Pass The Pill - Kings of Hoops.

The Indiana Pacers announced Wednesday they have signed veteran guard/forward Paul George to a multi-year contract extension. The Pacers have not disclosed terms of the deal, but according to ESPN.com, George
Danny Granger will be a full participant when the Pacers open training camp.
Coach Frank Vogel said Friday that Granger will be given extra rest in October, noting it's part of the doctors' plan to help Granger build up his endurance as he recovers a left knee injury.
The one-time All-Star missed all but five games last season, and finally had surgery in April. Doctors...
Paul George is a very rich man, and if everything goes the way he and the Pacers anticipate, he could eventually be much, much richer.
George and the Pacers announced their agreement on a multi-year contract on Wednesday, keeping the budding star in Indiana for what is believed to a five-year maximum extension worth between $80 million and $90 million, on top of the one year he has...
Larry Bird boldly has proclaimed that the Indiana Pacers are "all in" and says anything less than an NBA Finals appearance this season would be a disappointment.
In an interview with The Indianapolis Star , the Pacers' president of basketball operations -- who took a year off before returning to the front office this year -- declared that this should be the year his...
Last week Danny Granger said that his tentative return date to full activities would be October 5th the extent of his sixth-month recovery prognosis from his knee injury. At Media Day Friday Indiana Pacers coach Frank Vogel said that Granger will be back earlier than that though. As in immediately.
The other big question at Media Day for Indiana was about Granger and his minutes...

Current Indiana Pacers president and former NBA legend, Larry Bird, believes that the time is now for the Pacers to win it all. The Pacers brought their physical defensive play as far as the eastern conference finals last season, where they came up just short of an NBA Finals appearance, losing to the Miami Heat in a tough 7-game series.
The Pacers deserve praise for their hard-fought...
The Indiana Pacers made Paul George’s 5-year, $90 million contract extension official at a press conference Wednesday where the All-Star made it clear that he feels more at home in Indiana than he’s felt anywhere in his entire life, “I was supposed to have a poker face throughout this situation, but my heart was really here, and I couldn’t see myself going anywhere else...
Everybody felt good for Paul George on Wednesday.
After George inked a multi-year pact with the Pacers, he received congratulations from around the NBA — including from rivals within his own conference. Celtics forward Jeff Green, who apparently is “brodies” with George, took to Twitter to congratulate the once-underrated small forward on his massive new deal.
It never occurred...
Just when you thought that you had seen every activity done with Google Glass, Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert decided to try them out on a paintball course.
The below video gives you a first person view of what it would be like to be an NBA center playing paintball:

Earlier this month, the San Antonio Spurs and free agent Sam Young met but according to Real GM, the Spurs and Young have reached an agreement.

Unlike another All-Time great (Michale Jordan), Larry Bird is actually pretty good at his job. Bird wasn't a bad coach either when he ran the sidelines from 1998-2000 with the Pacers. It's never easy cheering for another team. But if you have to, why not a team ran by former Celtics great Larry Bird? It doesn't hurt either that the Pacers could...
Rush, by Ron Howard, was released in theaters in North America this weekend and has been met with very positive reviews in general. The movie was made on an indie budget of approximately $38 million and shot in Europe. It is centered on the real-life rivalry between James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and Niki Lauda (Daniel Bruhl) in 1976.
The theme of the movie is really entertwined...
