It’s a win-win. mail@bustedcoverage.com Via: Investigators with the Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are searching for the man who walked into a Beneficial Bank demanding cash Monday. Investigators say the bank robbery happened at 1:30 p.m. at the Beneficial Bank on the 800 block of Allegheny Avenue. The man walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money, according to investigators. The man then walked out of the bank and left the area on foot. Going out on a limb and saying this guy is active on Twitter, has a Facebook page he doesn’t update and clubs at least on Thursday nights. He’s also impressed by the three-game winning streak the Suns have put together. He used to think Steve Nash was the best white point guard in the league and still thinks that Goran Dragic makes way too much money. Your move, Philly. Get some Christmas cash from the FBI. Bobcats could surprise Suns at home

Phoenix Suns coach Alvin Gentry says that his team isn't good enough to overlook a high school team. The free-falling Charlotte Bobcats are better than that, and they came up short in their last attempt at ending their latest double-digit losing streak. The Suns have won a season-high three straight and will try to avoid their pattern of falling behind by big deficits Wednesday...

Shannon Brown Breaks Out The Shammgod vs Sacramento

I’ve spent half the damn day pressing the refresh button, just waiting for a video of this to pop up on YouTube… so I’m not going to do a whole lot of yapping here.  All you really need to know is that Shannon Brown busted out his own version of one of the illest signature moves of all-time, the Shammgod, in Phoenix’s comeback victory over the Kings last night.  For those...

Suns look to continue reign over Kings

The Phoenix Suns won all three meetings versus the Sacramento Kings last season despite being unable to contain DeMarcus Cousins. Cousins has excelled against the Suns throughout his career, something he'll hope to continue as the visiting Kings try to end a four-game slide Monday night. This is the first meeting in 2012-13 between the worst teams in the Pacific Division, with...

Suns come from behind to beat Kings

PHOENIX (AP) -- Shannon Brown scored 14 of his 22 points in the third quarter, Jared Dudley added 20 points and the Phoenix Suns pulled off another big rally to beat the Sacramento Kings 101-90 Monday night. The Suns were out of sorts throughout the first half, scoring 43 points while trailing by up to 19. Brown helped them outscore Sacramento 31-14 in the third quarter and Dudley...

Suns end up with enough to defeat Kings

PHOENIX -- Losing at home to the Sacramento Kings wouldn't have been the end of the world. If certain interpretations of the Mayan calendar are on the money, the end of the world will show up on Friday. But it was only Monday night and the Phoenix Suns were busy making sure they avoided losing to the second-worst team (by record) in the NBA's Western Conference. The Suns...

Tyreke Evans’ Sore Left Knee Could Result In Extended Break

Tyreke Evans’ sore left knee kept him out of Monday’s game against the Phoenix Suns at US Airways Center. Since suffering a bruised left knee Nov. 27 against Minnesota, the veteran guard has missed seven of 10 games. Evans left Sunday’s loss to Denver after 10 minutes on the floor. An MRI showed no structural damage to the knee. Kings coach Keith Smart said it’s not up...

Suns rise in second half to clock Kings

PHOENIX -- It took almost a third of the season for the Phoenix Suns to patch together three straight wins. It also took climbing out of a 19-point hole against the slumping Sacramento Kings on Monday to complete the long journey. Shannon Brown scored 14 of his 22 points during Phoenix's 31-point third quarter, and Marcin Gortat added 14 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks as...
