With the NBA owners taking a hardline approach to their CBA negotiations, asking the player’s to make massive concessions to save the owners from their own stupidity, it looks as though the NBA season has a real possibility of being lost. But just because the NBA season is lost, doesn’t mean we can’t have some type of season featuring the best basketball talent in the world.
Players are already talking about possible barnstorming games in China, but what interest is glorified all-star games? If the players are actually interested in making some real money (while not going over to play in Europe during the lockout), then they should form a league of their own, a league I’ll call the BLL, Basketball Lockout League.
