Those who spend time around sports inevitably end up talking about legacies. So my question to you is this: if Game 6 goes similarly to Game 5 but Paul Pierce doesn't get stripped and the Celtics end up winning, how does that affect Kobe's legacy? How does it affect his status as the league's best player?
I think these kinds of questions are fair given the responsibility that Kobe has openly embraced, and they are questions that we will need to ask if the Celtics win either tonight or on Thursday. And of course, this is all only if the Lakers lose. As for the answers...
