Wheeling and Dealing

With the lockout in full effect, basically all fun has been sucked out of every NBA fan’s summer. No trades, no free agency, no wheeling and dealing. Well, I decided to have a little fun with the Trade Machine and throw out some trades I would consider if it was business as usual this summer in the NBA. Before we begin, a few things to keep in mind as you go through some of my trade proposals: 1) The new CBA (if we ever get one) may drastically change the rules so some of these trades likely will not be possible (or practical) after a new CBA is ratified. Just have some fun with it now. 2) There is a good chance a new CBA will come with an amnesty clause, allowing each team to buyout one player without their salary counting against the cap. If that happens, Charlotte buys out Diop before the ink dries on the new CBA.
