Monday night made it official: the Golden State Warriors are not getting an invitation to the NBA Playoffs. The fact that this year's Warriors team was a LOT better than last year's crew is what makes this even more disheartening. But not as much as the fact that a bunch of goofs in Atlanta that go by the name "Hawks" are going to go at least 5 games below .500 and keep their summer plans on ice.

  • True dat!
  • Agreed, even though I do like the Hawks. Let's keep it real. Don't we want the best teams in? Love the title. Wonder if they'll do a commercial?
  • Ditto for me. The Hawks are done in 5.
  • Its gonna be a clean sweep... hawks suck
  • Word. I say it should be the division leaders plus the best 10 teams. Period.
Don't tell me New Orleans is in the West.
  • Oh my God! I've been saying that all along! Power in numbers. Maybe SOMEONE will listen!
  • i live in the east and there are at least 5 teams in our conference that shouldnt be in the playoffs period.
  • and id trade all of them for the warriors.
  • Dig it.
  • I don't really know.. I like the current system, but the Warriors got snubbed, hardcore. I do believe that puts teams like Portland in too, over Atlanta- which would make it a lot more interesting.

Teams would actually have to play all the games, hard if they wanted in.
