Who is the dirtiest player in the league?

Posted January 18, 2008
So I have been thinking about this one lately. It seems like players are getting away with more and more these days, so I decided to break down who is who in the world of dirt. Now we don't see the stuff we use to in the days of the mailman, stockton, rodman, and laimbeer, but we see some stuff that is pretty close. I decided to break down the list with some good video clips of these guys. This one was fun to put together, was bored and the Lakers/Suns game was not sparking my interest, for the exception of Kwame Brown playing horrible, but thats another note. Now here we go... Shaq- Now I could not find some of the great dirty plays from Shaq. Blazer fans will remember the ball in the face incident with Joel Pryzabilla this year. We all know he is dirty, but he is not even close to the worst. James Posey- One dirt mcgirt dude. It isnt that he plays dirty all the time, but when he does he tries to kill people. He is nuts. Horry - Well this one is a no brainer, he is part of the old guard. He is a no blood no foul type of guy. We all remember this play. Steve Nash - Well any guy of his size throws down the same moves, we have all seen in it plenty of times from him, he pulls these moves straight from Stocktons book. Oh and to Karl Malone, he is better the Stockton ever was. (Like Karl Malone can even read) Manu Ginobili - He is very dirty but its strange their is no video online, but I will bless you with this article which explains it all. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18601043/ Lamar Odom - Dude has been throwing elbows and cheap shots for years. Throwing balls at opposing teams players heads, when the refs are not looking. But here is a classic clip from this year Lindsey hunter - This is the only thing I need to post about hunter, no video, no article. "If it ain't rough, it ain't right. And if it ain't right, well?" Nice quote.. The old grey bush is from Motor City, played with the Bad Boys, what else do you expect. Bruce Bowen - The King of ding, the trench digger, the dirt hauler, the "I didnt mean to break his ankle, i just wanted him to bruise" Bowen. This guy is King now. The heavy hitters have all but left, Malone, GP, all gone, and he is the only one left. We have a couple videos for this treat of a player. He is such a low key player, so he gets away with this so much. He never really argues just takes the foul and walks away. Sick Sick man.... But the best defender in the league, fear does a lot of things to opposing players. Sorry about the music in some of these, obviously not my creations. Turn your audio down on this one. The Undercut king As I was going through some of these videos, I really noticed how light the league is now. The guys of 70-80-90's would beat these new guys down. I mean it was crazy. You have to check this video out. Now what do you all think, is anyone really actually dirty anymore? Thanks for tuning in, bored on a Thursday night so I thought I would throw this one together. Have a good weekend guys and gals. Blazers Vs Miami tomorrow! Go Blazers.
