Los Angeles Lakers All-Star guard Kobe Bryant scored a game high 40 points and grabbed a key defensive rebound at the end of the game as the Lakers ended up defeating the Denver Nuggets 105-103 Tuesday night at the Staples Center. The win gives the team from the “City Of Angels“ a 1-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals; however it certainly was not an easy task securing this victory. The two clubs were tied five times and the lead changed hands thirteen times during the contest. Carmelo Anthony led the Nuggets effort with 39 points.
