USA TODAY Sports Detroit Pistons guard Will Bynum got suspended one game after hitting Indiana Pacers forward Tyler Hansbrough in the stomach during Saturday’s game, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski. The play happened when the Pacers were winning by 20 points with 8:39 left in the game. Hansbrough set a screen to free up D.J Augustin and Bynum didn’t appreciate how the Pacer forward settled it. Bynum was thrown out immediately after his actions. Bynum was frustrated with his team’s play. Losing back-to-back games against the same opponent via blowouts might do that to you, but there’s no excuse to punch anyone no matter how frustrated you are. The suspension will make Bynum miss the Pistons game against the Atlanta Hawks on tonight. The 30-year-old, in his fifth season with the Pistons, has averaged 9.4 points per game, 3.8 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per contest. Warriors and Pacers brawl

The biggest brawl of the NBA season thus far took place on Tuesday night between the Indiana Pacers and Golden State Warriors. The fracas started between Roy Hibbert and David Lee and ended up with almost every player on the court in a tangled mess of pushing and elbowing. Double technical fouls were handed out to Hibbert and Lee, Hibbert and Thompson, and David West and Curry...

Will Bynum Suspended One Game For Punching Tyler Hansbrough

Pacers. Pistons. Palace. Punches. The only thing missing was Ron Artest and a flying beer cup (such a waste). History was nowhere near repeating itself Saturday night when there was a little violence during the Pacers/Pistons game. Rather than seeing a player dash into the stands after an unruly fan it was one of the Pistons--Will Bynum--giving Pacers player Tyler Hansbrough...

Will Bynum punches Tyler Hansbrough, gets one-game suspension

This incident made the Palace of Auburn Hills look like an amateur boxing ring. And no––I'm not referring to the notorious Pacers-Pistons "Malice in the Palice" brawl of 2004 starring Ron Artest. This time around, it was only Pistons point guard Will Bynum throwing the punches, as he took an untimely swing at Pacers forward Tyler Hansbrough with under 9 minutes...

Steph Curry breaks George Hill's ankles

Believe it or not, things other than a huge fight took place in Tuesday’s Warriors-Pacers contest.  For one, Stephen Curry had a season-high 38 points on 7-of-10 from deep. Oh, and he made George Hill just look absolutely silly: Even the Pacers broadcasters couldn’t help themselves from making fun of Hill, who wisely dragged Curry to the floor to save himself from further embarrassment...

Roy Hibbert on Steph Curry: ‘I didn’t even feel him’ (Video)

Roy Hibbert was ejected following a fight between the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, and his comments about Steph Curry after the game were pretty funny. Hibbert and David Lee were fighting for position for a rebound in the fourth quarter. Lee shoved Hibbert, Hibbert shoved back, and the two bumped chests. That’s when Curry entered the picture, trying to pull...

The Indiana Pacers’ Bench Erupts When Danny Granger Makes One of his 10 Shot Attempts (Video)

Danny Granger played his first game coming back from a knee injury for the Indiana Pacers against the Detroit Pistons Saturday night. Although, Granger went one-of-ten in his shot attempts, it didn’t stop the support from his teammates who went nuts and mobbed him.  It just shows how important Granger is to them, as well [...]The post The Indiana Pacers’ Bench Erupts When Danny...

Roy Hibbert-David Lee Shoving Match Spills Into Stands As Warriors, Pacers Clash (Video)

Tuesday’s battle between the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers started off with a friendly basketball atmosphere, but it ended with fists thrown and jersey-tugging actions. At the midpoint in the fourth quarter, David West was fouled while shooting a jumper. While the field goal attempt flew in the air, Golden State’s center David Lee shoved Indiana’s Roy Hibbert...

Roy Hibbert appears irritated with water boy

Even up 31 points on the New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers’ Roy Hibbert was not all too happy getting taken out of the game. The 7’2” Hibbert was then offered a bottle of water by the Pacers water boy. Too bad it wasn’t Adam Sandler as the Waterboy sitting behind the bench.

Roy Hibbert Ejected; Stephen Curry Tossed Around Pacers vs. Warriors (Video)

The Indiana Pacers defeated the Golden State Warriors Tuesday night, but the win didn’t come without drama. It started out as a shove match between David Lee and Roy Hibbert, a whistle was called, and the shoving continued. Unbeknownst to any fan, Stephen Curry joined the action and was tossed back and forth like a [...]The post Roy Hibbert Ejected; Stephen Curry Tossed Around...

The Indiana Pacers Beat The Warriors In The Game & In The Brawl That Got Roy Hibbert Ejected.

It was hard to tell if you were at a NBA game of a NHL game. The Pacers had a huge brawl that broke out in the game against the Warriors. The fight was so bad that Roy Hibbert  got thrown out of the game. The scuffle broke out  in the 4th quarter but the Pacers were able to hang on to win the game 108-97. Pacers beat Pistons again as Granger debuts

Yes, the Indiana Pacers beat the Detroit Pistons again, this time a little closer at 90-72, but the game itself paled in comparison to Danny Granger's return.    Granger came off the bench, missed his first 8 shots, hit one, and finished 1-10 from the field, with 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block in 19 minutes.   Worse still, the team's offense looked...

Knicks-Pacers Rivalry Renewed?

The New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers met in the playoffs a total of six times between the 1993-2000 seasons. We all remember Indiana Pacer great Reggie Miller, who was deemed the nickname, “The Knick-Killer,” and oh how could we forget about his 8 points in just 18.7 seconds in game 1 of the 1995 Eastern Conference Semifinals. Or even better yet, as Knicks fans may rather...
