The NBA season has been a very exciting one so far with this compacted 66-game schedule, but it is taking a huge toll on the players. It seems like every night someone is going down with an injury. Last night in NBA action, we saw injuries take down Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose, New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony, Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari, and Los Angeles Clippers guard Chauncey Billups. Billups may be gone for the year with an Achilles tendon injury. Before last night you already saw Memphis Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph and San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginoboli, among others, go down with significant injuries.
