On the day LeBron James was named NBA Most Valuable Player, Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra joked how he privately calls his star "One Through Five," since he is capable of playing all five positions.

With Chris Bosh now sidelined in this Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Indiana Pacers, it's almost as if it has become all LeBron all the time.

And it could be proving to be too much, with James limited to 22 points on 10-of-22 shooting in the Heat's 94-75 Game 3 loss Thursday night. The Heat are now down 2-1 in the best-of-seven series that continues Sunday at Banker Life Fieldhouse.

"It's a lot more taxing, being in there with bigger guys," James said of spending so much time at power forward in the absence of Bosh.

"When you're on the perimeter, there's more space."

But James said there can be some advantages.

"I can get more rebounds and start the break," he said after closing with seven rebounds Thursday.

Then there are the increased minutes amid Bosh's absence.

"Forty minutes in the playoffs is different than 40 minutes in the regular season," he said after being called upon for 40 on Thursday night. "That's just how it is. The intensity is raised."

Teammate Dwyane Wade agreed on that count.

Wade said he and James take their breaks when they can find them.

"I've just got to find out the times when I can get a quick breather, especially with the TV timeouts," he said. "We've just got to be smart about it."

The good news is there now is a two-day break, the series' lone two-day pause, before the next game.

"Everyone is different," Wade said. "I think it depends how you feel the next day. Some days, you can come in and you're real beat up and you just do need to a little treatment and go get some rest."
