John Wall had 23 points and 10 assists, and the Washington Wizards beat the Milwaukee Bucks 106-93 Wednesday night. Wall and Wizards coach Randy Wittman appeared to exchange unpleasant words during a timeout late in the third quarter, but Wall rallied with eight fourth-quarter points to hold off the Bucks' comeback. It was Wall's seventh double-double of the season. He also added six rebounds and four steals. The Wizards (21-42) have won three straight home games and eight of 11 in Washington. Monta Ellis scored 26 points for the Bucks (32-31).

The Upcoming Off-season Will Be Key for the Washington Wizards

Next year will be make-or-break for the Wizards After last night’s 95-90 loss at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers that saw the Wizards score 33 first quarter points and jump out to a 13 point lead, then only 32 points over the next 24 minutes, I immediately starting thinking about the off-season. While it was only a five point loss, it came at the hands of the Cavs who were...

Washington Wizards: Does John Wall Deserve A Max Contract?

John Wall has come out saying that he deserves a max contract when his rookie contract expires and he could sign one as soon as this summer. This is no doubt that 2010′s first overall pick, is the franchise player of the Washington Wizards and a polarizing player and athlete, but having only played about a third of this season so far and with his numbers down from last year, it...

More Playing Time Is Needed For Trevor Booker

(AP Photo/Jim Prisching) This has certainly not been the season that all of us fans, the organization, and especially Trevor Booker thought he would have.  Wednesday night vs the Bucks, Booker showed what he can do and came up big for the Washington Wizards in a big win. The Wizards had blown a 20-point lead they had built in the first half and trailed by three entering the fourth...

Sanders has funny reaction to ejection

During the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Washington Wizards game Wednesday night, Bucks’ center Larry Sander was ejected from the game as he picked up his 2nd technical foul. Upon receiving the 2nd tech and being tossed from the game, his reaction is one of the best I have ever seen. It is so good, it can not really be put into words. So just enjoy this GIF from Wiz_Spurtin on Twitter. ...

John Wall: I Deserve a Max Contract

Former number 1 overall pick John Wall has had an up and down career so far. He’s battled injuries and the Wizards for the most part have been an underwhelming team during the John Wall era. Perhaps a slap in the face for the hopes the franchise had for him when they decided to take [...]

John Wall Says His Shooting ‘Sweet Spot’ is ‘Everywhere’ on Court, Thinks He Deserves Maximum Contract

John Wall is known as a confident person, probably stemming from his belief that he can teach anyone and everyone how to Dougie. Wall’s confidence extends to the basketball court, too, which is good, since that is where he makes his living. The Wizards point guard made a number of bold statements in an interesting interview with Zach Lowe of Grantland. One of those statements —...

Cavs (21-42) vs. Wizards (20-41) - Game 64

OPENING TIP Well, here we are again: The Cavaliers are about to go through another stretch run without Anderson Varejao and most likely, Kyrie Irving. So what is there to play for? Only the Cavs can make that decision. The key here is to keep playing hard, trying to execute Byron Scotts game plan, and let everything else fall where it may. Meanwhile, the Wizards are just trying...
