ATLANTA -- Most of the Washington Wizards were in the locker room thinking they had claimed their first victory after Martell Webster saved a Kevin Seraphin air ball and scooped it into the basket as time expired in overtime. Only Nene stayed on the court, praying. But after scrutinizing the video, the officials ruled no shot. The Atlanta Hawks had hung on to win 101-100 Wednesday. Kyle Korver's 3-point shot with 1.7 seconds left in overtime was the winning basket. "Our video shows it's good," a disgusted Wizards coach Randy Wittman said. Seraphin, who had a season-high 21 points and 10 rebounds, had been ecstatic for the two minutes it took for the officials to reverse the call. "I said, 'We got it! We got it!' For the first time we really played. We played good," he said. The Wizards got a boost from the return of Nene, who scored 12 points in his season debut. Trevor Ariza 15 rebounds and 12 points. The Hawks, led by Josh Smith...

One young fan at the Atlanta Hawks-Washington Wizards game on Wednesday seemed to be having a better time than everyone else. As an Atlanta Hawks dancer/cheerleader was passing out candy courtside, a young boy went to grab his treat. The bag of peanut M&Ms seemed to be meaningless to the boy, who suddenly realized that a gorgeous Hawks girl was right in front of him. The ogling...
Atlanta Hawks center/power forward Al Horford’s little brother got an eye full as a well-endowed Hawks cheerleader served snacks to spectators at the game against the Washington Wizards Wednesday night. The expression on his face is priceless.

What we hope for as Wizards fans is to become relevant again and start winning on a consistent basis. We want our management to make sound decisions that help build the foundation of a winning franchise...
Things have gotten really bad for the Washington Wizards. At 0-9, they are the NBA’s only winless team and — not surprisingly — are in the bottom five of almost every category in the league, including attendance. They may have hit a new low Monday, when the banged-up and listless Pacers came to town and handed the Wizards a 96-89 defeat.
Aftward, Wizards coach Randy Wittman...
via The Big LeadThere are very few things in the world as funny as a chubby kid getting a glimpse of a scantily clad cheerleader. However, when it is found out that the kid is Al Horford’s brother, the ante gets upped. Check out this perfect reaction by Horford’s brother to a Atlanta Hawks cheerleader.

What do you have to do to win a game in the NBA?
Martell Webster was ready to play the hero for the 0-9 Washington Wizards on Wednesday night (say that 10 times fast), but his attempt came up a split-second short as the officials overturned his last-touch layup and gave the Atlanta Hawks a 101-100 victory instead.
The Wizards have had a rough season, but things appeared to finally...
This random little kid—later identified as Al Horford’s younger brother—got more than he bargained for sitting courtside at the Wizards-Hawks game Wednesday night. As if the free bag of candy wasn’t enough of a treat, the kid realizes that the person handing out said treats is one of the Atlanta Hawks dancers, and a rather voluptuous one at that. His reaction when he...
As the coach of the only NBA team without a victory this season, Randy Wittman is struggling to pick a starting lineup for the Washington Wizards. Can't even zero in on a nine-man rotation, actually.
All the while, he needs to buoy his own flagging spirits and try to prevent his players from getting too down on themselves after a franchise-worst 0-9 start.
The little brother of Hawks center Al Horford is becoming an Internet sensation for his oogling of a Hawks cheerleader during last night’s game.
You have to appreciate the boy’s ambition. He doesn’t settle for the front view. He gets up and takes a peek around back.

This is great. Kid in first row at the Wizards / Hawks game is thrilled that a cheerleader-cum-waitress is delivering candy. Then he notices the boobies. Then the butt.

Remember we recently discussed the NBA’s dance teams’ costumes and dissected if they were skimpy? My answer was that they were standard but I guess I wasn’t putting myself in the mind space of a 12 year old boy. Today’s example, a little boy attending the Hawks vs. Wizards game was caught on camera peeping [...]
As the New York Knicks ride a wave that for the time being has them registered as the best team in the NBA, more than a few people have verbally exposed the idea that at some point Amare Stoudemire could return from injury and spoil the entire affair.
