...you're Stephon Marbury and you check out ESPN.com this morning, only to find the following headline: "Goodbye Marbury? Knicks to sign guard Roberson" Now it wouldn't be so bad if that headline read any of the following: "Goodbye Marbury? Knicks to sign guard Steve Nash" "Goodbye Marbury? Knicks to sign guard Chris Paul" or even "Goodbye Marbury? Knicks to sign guard Dan Dickau" But Roberson? Honestly, I didn't know who Roberson was - I assumed a "T" was missing in his name. Apparently not - his name is Anthony Roberson. He played 20 games last year and averaged 5.6 ppg and 0.5 apg. Yes, Mr. Starbury, you're being replaced by a guy who cracked 10 points in a game just once last year...it also happened to be the only game where he registered more than one assist. So there's your replacement, Stephon. In the meantime, you can cash in that $19 million per year paycheck, and reminisce about the days when you would pour in 20+ points a night, and dish out 8 or 9 dimes. A guy who should be in the D-League is running your team. How the mighty have fallen.

  • About time the muffin got back in the game
  • When will Isaiah just give that sh8t up!
  • We were talking about Starbury just today. We were debating whether or not Michael Beasley will have the A. I./Starbury syndrome... Your a great player that just makes the team worse and inevitably is doomed to failure becuase you can't understand the fact that there is no I in team... There's a me in Team but that is just bad grammar...

What do you think about Beasley's chances?
  • Beasley is a stud. Should have gone first, but you can't dog on Chi-town for picking the hometown boy. He'll be a solid player. Definately a star. All-star?.. we'll see.
  • LOL, that is hilarious. Well said!
