Toronto Raptors center Aaron Gray underwent a surgical procedure Monday to correct recurring episodes of a rapid heart rate.

Raptors C Gray ruled out indefinitely with heart condition
Toronto Raptors center Aaron Gray has been ruled out indefinitely as he undergoes additional tests for a rapid heart rate.
Raptors officials noted that he still will be able to participate in practices, but opted to withhold him from game action after consulting with league cardiologist Dr. Allan Schwartz.

Rapid heart rate keeps Raptors C Gray on sideline
Toronto Raptors center Aaron Gray was inactive for Monday night's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to a rapid heart rate.
Raptors officials said Gray was being monitored for the condition.
The 27-year-old Gray was signed by Toronto two weeks ago.
He averaged 3.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and a career-high 13.0 minutes last season for the New Orleans Hornets.

Raptors agree to deal with C Gray
The Toronto Raptors reportedly reached agreement on a one-year contract with center Aaron Gray on Saturday.
The 7-foot Gray appeared in 41 games with the New Orleans Hornets last season, averaging 3.2 points and 4.2 rebounds.
A second-round pick of the Chicago Bulls in 2007, he has averaged 3.6 points and 3.5 rebounds in parts of five seasons.
