Time for The Truth
The Truth is Celtics basketball. The Truth is also an entire era, ten grueling years during which a whole generation of Celtics’ fans watched basketball be
kept alive in Boston by The Truth. Paul
Pierce is a career Celtic, a devoted Captain, and always gives his best effort no
matter if times are tough, and no matter if his fans would never deem him equal
to his Hall of Fame...

Air Jordan XI “St. Patrick’s Day” Ray Allen PE
On MLK Day, 13 NBA games was played and many players use Dr. King day to showcase new footwear and this year was no different. Ray Allan led the Celtics to a 109-106 win against the Orlando Magic, dropping 26 points with 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Just as impressive as his statline is also his choice of footwear for the night. Jordan Brand favorite Ray Allen laced up a pair...

Scalabrine's #44 to be retired tonight
When Celtics rookie Luke Harrangody was not given his longtime #44 this Summer, some speculated that Danny Ainge might be getting his number retired. To me this would have been ridiculous for the one time NBA all-star. The more realistic explanation was that Boston Celtics great Brian Scalabrine was going to get the honor. Celtics Life has learned that in fact the retirement ceremony...

Ray Allen
I have posted many times that Ray Allen should be on our radar if he does not sign with Boston. Granted, we should target one of the max guys but all is not lost if we don't. I just wanted congratulate Ray Allen for setting the record for 3pt in the playoff. That is why I would rather have him at a cheaper rate than the over rated Joe Johnson...Besides I'm bias... a long...

Comments from the Other Side - Cavs Game 3 5/7
Must win game. This is the type of win a championship team puts together.
I have confidence, a LeBron James team is never desperate.
I got a bad feeling about this one on Friday
Sorry but that's BS. We've always been desperate.
One area the Celtic clearly without a doubt exceed the Cavs is their dancers. Ours look like dog crap compared to those girls.
I actually have...

Today in Philly Sports History: Allan Ray's Phantom Travel Against UNC, 2005
Villanova had a pair of current NBA pros helping to key its 2005 tournament run in Wizards combo guard Randy Foye and Rockets combo guard Kyle Lowry (Jay Wright sure knows how to crank 'em out, huh?), but the team's leading scorer was an ultimately undrafted player named Allan Ray. Ray averaged 16 points that year, made the all-conference second team, and led the Wildcats...

Player of the Game - Rajon Rondo
There could be a case made for Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, or Ray Allan as player of the game. But, the one player who turned the game around was Rajon Rondo. He is definitely making a case for himself as one of the top PG's in the league. The Celtics started the 3rd quarter down 13 points, ...

Blah, Blah, NBA All Star Game: Featuring Dirk and One Nasty Back-Hand
I must admit, this year's All Star Game wasn't the most entertaining game, but it had a fun finish to watch. The game was sloppy like usual, but had it's moments in the first quarter and the final 8 minutes of the game. Dirk, how does it feel to be dunked on and back handed at the same time? That play was by far the best play of the game.

The Rippest and Buffest NBA Players
I've been working extremely hard for the past eight months and have dedicated a good part of my week to lifting iron. I've always been involved in athletics and have always lifted, but now I'm actually following programs and seeing significant amount of gains. Its great and I would recommend it to everyone. I'm also in the process of writing my own vertical jump program...
