NBA All Hair Team

While watching Robin Lopez on draft night with his hat perched precariously on top of his voluminous hair, I started thinking about the other players who have wild hair. Here are the names, but you can go to the original article to see the photos of the NBA All Hair Team! First TeamJoakim   more...

Cavs-Warriors Trade Rumor

Rumors of a trade involving the Cavaliers and Warriors have been popping up…except these rumors don't involve Baron Davis. Tis the season for rumors in the NBA. The Finals are over, the draft pool has been finalized, and teams have had time to take stock of their needs and assets. Indeed, if you're   more...

My first crack at NBA Live 2008's Dynasty Mode

Just got my copy of NBA Live 08' today. And to be honest, the game play is still similar to how it was in past NBA Live editions (So what was Shawn Marion and Co. so excited about?) with the exception of the power hop (which they brought back) and player "hot spots" (which are areas in the   more...

David Lee, Anyone?

It was only two days ago that we were told that the Cavaliers would look to get better through trades as opposed to the draft. Given the selection of J.J. Hickson in last night's draft, I think it's safe to say that the team's "last resort" isn't going to put an end to the off-season moves for   more...

Brook and Robin Lopez are the impoverished peoples' Tim Duncan and Anderson Varejao

1. Overview : Brook and Robin Lopez are more similar to each other than initially meets the eye. They are smooth (but not explosive) athletes, who play hard, rebound and defend, and have solid inside games.Within that framework, Brook Lopez is more cerebral and uses more polished offensive moves   more...

How Ya Like Big Game James (Posey) Now?

James Posey wanted to return to his hometown of Cleveland to help his once-beloved Cavs win their first title. He was denied. Nine months later, Posey is going to get fitted for his second championship ring while the Cavs, who passed up on him in favor of re-signing Sasha Pavlovic, are still in   more...

'Bron 'Bron not happy about Cavs' off-season moves

Or lack thereof, I should say. LeBron James could be one of the most dominant basketball players in history by the end of his career, but he may likely get booted from the playoffs regularly if he can't get any help. Anderson Varejao and Sasha Pavlovic are restricted free agents and GM Danny Ferry   more...

There are 30 players in the NBA from the 2004 draft class with only 1 undrafted player remaining. So far, #1 pick Dwight Howard is the clear leader of the class and is a strong contender for the MVP. Evidently the Cavs are Finished

I have yet to read one NBA forecast that has the Cavs returning to the NBA finals this season. In fact, some outlets have them as the 5th best team in the East. Everyone seems to be jumping on the Leprechaun train. And I mean everyone. Is the media not the most predictable industry in the world?

Cavs Should Deal for Ron Artest

Everyone seems to think that the Cavs should trade for a point guard. While that would be a nice addition to the team, I think the Cavs would be better served to add another solid defender and scorer to the mix no matter what position he plays.
