BRIAN GRANT RUMORS & GOSSIP

Saw Brian Grant last night at Jeff Ruby's...

He was great. I talked to him in the bar/lobby area. Brian was In good spirits and upbeat about the shootout. Said our team has a ton of talent but it not firing on all cylinders – yet. Thinks UC will bring it as “we are now their biggest game”. Love that quote. Interesting how the circumstances have changed! A constant stream of well wishers went to his table throughout...

NBA lockout doesn't threaten Grant's fundraiser

The NBA lockout isn't really posing any challenges for Brian Grant's big fundraiser to fight Parkinson's Disease, despite widespread reports and Internet buzz. Last summer, a few NBA players lent Grant a hand in his ''Shake It Till We Make It'' gala dinner and golf tournament. This year, that won't be the case. Grant, who played 12 NBA seasons and...

Blaze of Glory - 5/27/2009

The Blaze of Glory is your almost-daily link list of Blazer blog ridiculousness and other random Blazers info. … but that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate what we have, while we have it.

The [...]

Brian Grant Has Parkinson’s Disease

Ric Bucher of ESPN reports that former NBA great Brian Grant has Parkinson’s Disease. He was diagnosed with “young onset” (due to age) in January and apparently is just now coming out with it because this is the first I’ve heard of it. I’m not sure what else to say, frankly I’m in a state of shock.

Rip City Project knows best

SJ and I recently answered a few question for Hoopsdaily.com’s Blogger Knows Best series. We graded the season, talked about the future and what moves KP might make and lamented past moves (oh, Brian Grant, how I missed you). You can find them here. And here’s a plug for their fine site, where they have some [...]
