MEMPHIS, December 29, 2011 - The Grizzlies requested waivers on forward/center Brian Skinner, Grizzlies General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Wallace announced today.
Skinner (6-9, 255), who originally signed with Memphis on Dec. 10, appeared in one regular season game with the Grizzlies, logging four minutes on Dec. 26 at San Antonio.

Suns sign Brian Skinner
After all the talk, the rumors, last week's auditions not to mention the phone call to P.J., the Suns got their man, or at least a Big man. According to the Arizona Republic today, Suns signed 6-9 center Brian Skinner to a one-year deal for the League veteran's minimum. If Brian will be on the Suns roster on opening day he'll be guaranteed 1.1 million dollars for the 2007/08 season.
