Carlos Arroyo interested in Knicks
From Jared Zwerling, ESPNNewYork.com:
In addition to a starting center, the Knicks have been on the hunt for a solid backup point guard for Chauncey Billups, and they've reportedly contacted unrestricted free agent J.J. Barea.
But there's another Puerto Rican who would fit well in New York: Carlos Arroyo, who played for the Heat and Celtics last season.
"I love...

Another Carlos Arroyo Music Video
When Carlos Arroyo first joined the Celtics back in March, we saw him starring in a Reggaeton music video. Recently he was featured on another track, whose music video is above. Enjoy!

Carlos Arroyo listening to Spanish offers
Add Carlos Arroyo to the long list of players who are sick and tired of sitting around while nobody does anything to try and resolve the NBA lockout.
Arroyo, a free agent whose NBA future is kind of hanging in a environment of nothingness thanks to no league activity, told the website El Nuevo Dia (thank goodness for Google Translate, by the way) that he is currently being courted...

Carlos Arroyo, next one to leave?
After Nenad Kristic's depart for Russia weeks ago, it may be the turn for another Celtics free agent to leave for Europe. According to some reports, Arroyo is in contacts with an Italian squad:
Yesterday it was learned that the Italian Club Pallacanestro Cantu seems to have a great interest in the Puerto Rican point guard who was released on 30 June. The player's agent,...

Carlos Arroyo had to borrow Rondo's shoes
I guess Nike couldn't come up with a new pair of kicks fast enough for Carlos Arroyo. While Rondo was rocking a pair of Air Max BB 360 lows... Arroyo laced up a pair of Rondo's Zoom Hyperfuses.
Now... I know players get their own kicks sent to them and all that. But why couldn't Arroyo send someone to the Nike store and get new pair? Then again, the way...

Carlos Arroyo is saying the right things
"It’s been a roller coaster," admitted Arroyo. "But I'm truly excited to start a new career here in Boston. It's a great opportunity for me and my career, to do whatever possible to help this team win. Whatever coach needs me to do out there -- be a leader, get guys involved, put them in the right spots. I'm just truly excited be part of a great franchise...

Doc vs. Arroyo for the backup point guard position
Ok So first we have Doc showing he can still hit the elbow jumper. After the jump, we see the first footage of Carlos Arroyo practicing with his new teammates. Unlike some, I actually like the Arroyo signing. He's not a starter caliber player, but as a 10 minute backup for the times when Delonte can't suit up I think he's a perfect fit.
It looks like the nickname...

The Miami Heat waive Carlos Arroyo
The Miami Heat have waived 31-year old point guard Carlos Arroyo. Arroyo played in 49 games (42 starts) for the Heat this season and he averaged 20.3 minutes, 5.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. Arroyo also hit 43.8% from the three point line in this game, and the Heat might miss that about him. Arroyo played in 121 games (76 starts) in his two years with the...
