Maggette to miss 2-4 weeks with strained hamstring
Bobcats coach Paul Silas says forward Corey Maggette will miss 2-4 weeks with a strained left hamstring.
Silas says Derrick Brown will start Friday night against the Hawks, and Tyrus Thomas also will play. Thomas has not played this season because of a sprained ankle.

Bobcats F Maggette to get an MRI on hamstring
Charlotte Bobcats forward Corey Maggette will get an MRI exam on his left hamstring Thursday.
Maggette scored 12 points before he was injured in Wednesday's 118-110 win over the New York Knicks.
The Charlotte Observer reported that Maggette had trouble walking out of the locker room.
Maggette entered Wednesday's game averaging 12.2 points in his first season with the Bobcats.
