The Golden State Warriors have signed free agent forward Dominic McGuire, giving the team 19 players on the training camp roster. The team announced the move Thursday. McGuire appeared in 52 games with the Charlotte Bobcats last season, averaging 3.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per contest. In eight starts, the 6-foot-9 forward averaged 3.8 points and 7.4 rebounds in...

Dominic McGuire has been getting some P.T. lately for the Charlotte Bobcats

25-year old Domonic McGuire has been replacing Gerald Wallace (ankle) for the last couple of games and he has been busy.  In his last 2 games, McGuire is averaging 34.0 minutes, 8.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 blocked shots per game.  But, he is only 6 of 17 shooting from the floor (35.3%) and that stinks.  The Bobcats really miss Wallace’s offensive game...

The Charlotte Bobcats will be without Dominic McGuire for a while

The Bobcats will be without backup small forward Dominic McGuire for the next six weeks with shin splints. Eduardo Najera & Matt Carroll will likely see a small bump in minutes while McGuire is out of action. McGuire wasn’t expected to have a big role with the Bobcats this season so he won’t be missed too much while he is out of action.

NBA trade deadline update

5:35 update During his trade deadline news conference, Ernie Grunfeld said the Wizards made a "minor" move without announcing the deal. Turns out, according to sources, that the Wizards dealt Dominic McGuire and $300,000 to the Sacramento Kings for a 2010 second-round pick, which was far from a "minor" deal considering the financial implications. Entering the...
