Ex-Cavs center makes news with new book
Former Cavaliers center Lance Allred has authored his second book, this one entitled, Basketball Gods: The Transformation of the Enlighted Jock.
For those who dont remember Allred, he was a member of the Cavs for part of the 2007-08 season -- signing two 10-day contracts in March, then another for the remainder of the year. He was waived the following October.

Lance Allred Cut
Coming to no surprise whatsoever, the Indiana Pacers cut Lance Allred today, according to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star.
The Pacers roster is now down to 16 players and have to get rid of at least one more player to get by Monday’s NBA deadline.
The Pacers still have the trade in mind of Dahntay Jones and Solomon Jones for a big man. We’ll see what happens.
