Marc Gasol delivers an assist to Marreese Speights...with his face
Somebody forgot to tell Marc Gasol that Rudy Gay is a pretty good passer on the fast break, because obviously the big Spaniard wasn't expecting Gay to dish it to him last night. Seriously though, does Gasol get an assist for this? If not, he should. That was absolutely perfect dish by his chin to Marreese Speights, who finished with the slam.

By now, you should know. Marc Gasol is an All-Star. Pau is not. Advantage Grizzlies.
I know what you're thinking. It's just a meaningless game that features...

POTD 1/26/12: Blake Griffin of the Stars on Marc Gasol of the Tams
I’m all about throwback jerseys, but the Los Angeles Stars and the Memphis Tams were both bad ideas. It seems that the only ABA team ever to be located in LA was the Stars, so I guess the NBA wasn’t left with much of a choice there, but Memphis had the Sounds and the Pros in addition to the Tams. Both the Sounds and the Pros wore normal-looking jerseys with matching...

But there's the feeling the team will get a deal done as soon as possible. Gasol could accept the team's one-year, 4.5 million qualifying offer, play out the season and hit the market as a free agent. But Gasol has said several times...
